Boksburg, South Africa

Back on the sleigh again, the journey promptly continued in the direction of South Africa. Sparky and Santa were heading for the Niterra entity in the town of Boksburg, where they delivered the presents without any problems.

On their way back to the sleigh, Sparky suddenly heard Santa say, “I’ve got a bit of a surprise for you, Sparky. Are you up for a little adventure?”

“Always,” replied Sparky with a chuckle. “What’ve you got, Santa?”

“Well,” replied Santa, “since we don’t get to visit South Africa every day, I thought I’d slot in an aerial sleigh safari while we’re here. It’s just too good an opportunity to miss. We stand to see African wildlife live! Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants. I’m so excited! What do you think, Sparky? Are you game?”

“Of course I am,” said Sparky.

And so, accompanied by a local wildlife guide, the sleigh took to the air again for a low-altitude flight over the savannah. Rhinoceroses, a pride of lions with their cubs, an elephant at a watering hole and even a couple of giraffes were all spotted within a short space of time. The sleigh was absolutely buzzing with the excited voices of the helper elves … until the sleigh brushed against the branches of a tall tree, causing it to swerve sharply and a whole load of presents to tumble down to the ground.

A swift landing later, they took a moment to figure out how they could find the presents again. They had scattered far and wide and without them, they’d be unable to continue their delivery run!

Their safari guide came striding over to them. “I can call a mob of meerkats to help us locate the presents and bring them back. But they’ll only lend you a hand if you solve a puzzle first.”

“Let’s hear it,” replied Sparky happily.
