“Took your time,” remarked Santa.
“Sorry, boss,” said the errant reindeer and got back in line with the others.
Yesterday, once the reindeer were all back in line again, they set a course for Italy and the Niterra office in Milan.
“Look how pretty all the Christmas decorations are,” cried Sparky in delight once they had landed. Santa agreed and said, “They’ve certainly pulled out all the stops. I thoroughly approve.”
Suddenly, though, one of the helper elves noticed that one of the envelopes containing an allocation list for the presents had gone missing.
This was a disaster! Where could it have gone? Sparky, Santa, the entire elven crew and even the reindeer stood around looking puzzled.
But in a flash of inspiration, Sparky realised that all the shop windows were full of figures and symbols and instantly understood what they had to do.
“We’ve got to follow the symbols and find the right boutique to get the present allocation list back,” he cried. “Only then will we be able to deliver the presents!”
