Berlin, Germany

“Call that a puzzle?” said Sparky mockingly. “That was a doddle to solve!”

“Well,” said Santa with a grin, “trolls are not the sharpest tools in the box, know what I mean?”

“We’re almost on the home stretch now,” said Santa as they flew towards Berlin, the GPS system magically continuing to work.

They landed in Berlin without incident and were just about to climb aboard again after delivering the presents for the Berlin staff when Sparky saw something that made his blood run cold.

The wooden sleigh had developed a nasty crack and would not be able to fly in its current condition.

After inspecting the damage for himself, Santa said, “We’ll have to find some very special magical glue to fix this. It’s the only material that will repair this kind of damage. But I think I remember someone telling me once that there’s always some in the Berlin building. Let’s go and find it.”
